About Our Firm

Kaplan, Plavin & Steinhardt, LLP (KPS) was formed in the early 1950's by David Kaplan and Samuel Plavin. Harvey Plavin succeeded his father and guided its growth for several decades. David Steinhardt joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1995. The firm continued to grow under the management of Harvey and David.

Today, David Steinhardt manages the firm with an experienced and dedicated team of professionals. One of the attributes that sets KPS apart from other accounting firms is that several members of our team have extensive business experience in a variety of leadership roles.

KPS has a diverse clientele of entrepreneurial businesses and high net worth individuals and families. Some clients date back to the inception of the firm, giving us the privilege of enjoying multi-generational relationships.
